Decided to post yet another relaxing album by a great electronic/indie group, Belle Époque which is French for Beautiful Time/Period. Composed of Choi Kyung-Hoon (synths) and Jo Eu-Natrack (vocals), they indeed deserve their name because every track on here is absolutely wonderful. Kyung-Hoon is also the bassist of Misty Blue, another group I enjoy immensely.
Listening to this makes me feel like walking outside when there’s just the lightest of rains during a warm summer day. Eu-Na’s vocals are always whispered softly, blending in exquisitely well with the equally soft instrumentals. It can maybe feel a bit long if you’re in the mood for faster, more energetic music but it’s perfect for those evenings spent reading a nice book.
